Musowiki is the brainchild of Hugh Brown, AKA Huge. It grew out of his PhD research into the Independent music business models at QUT from 2006-2009. Essentially, he figured out that something like this was needed and figured he'd have a go at building it himself.

It's a free service for all concerned, though registration is required in an attempt to prevent commercial espionage.
